Good Luck!
I have the opposite: a bike with 12s Campy SR disc mechanical (thanks Clean39t!) mated to an AXS Red cassette with an AXS chain. SR cranks too. Works fine.

I've actually run a Force AXS front derailleur with 53/39 chainrings on a bike with a braze-on FD (Felt FR). It was installed all the way at the top, and will certainly vary from bike to bike, but the AXS stuff isn't nearly as limited in compatibility with other brands as Sram would like people to believe.

Rival shifters are hydraulic only. Force axs mechanical shifters are available and the price has been reduced to $230 each. All axs shift levers can communicate with any level of axs component.

I mean you can, but you’d need to source the right hydraulic rim brakes to work with the levers.

He means cable-actuated brakes, as opposed to hydraulic-actuated brakes.

You can source the parts from other sites, with limited stock available(some places only have left shifter, others right, etc)...
Excel Cycles and Jenson have some variety.
I'm pretty tempted to give this a try on the gravel bike, as I could use my existing P2M crankset with 48/31 and a 10-36 to give me more than enough range(running 11-36 currently). I can't get the crisp shifting I'm used to on the Hakka with it's poor internal cable routing and despite loving my Di2 bikes, I'm not sure I want to spend $2k+ to upgrade. For half that($1090 with XDR free hub) I could swap to AXS now...

I’ve had most of the rival axs group on back order to deliver in 12 days, and it just got pushed out another month…frustrating

Just need the shifters and calipers…

As it happens, I'm purchasing a bike that comes with an SRAM Rival AXS group, and I'm planning to remove the Rival group (to install a Campagnolo group). It sounds like I'll probably have little trouble selling a new bike take-off Rival AXS group.
