Moots PsycloX Fixed Gear Townie

Picked the frameset up on the forum and and built is up as pictured for a fun around-townie/fixed gear 'trainer'. As pictured it's right at 16.5lbs and a blast and a half to ride. In the the past I have not really liked 'flat' bar bikes on the road, but the long top tube on this with the sweep on the Budnitz bars makes for a winning combo. 35c Schwalbes fit with plenty of clearance, though I did put a cable splitter on the front brake to facilitate quicker wheel removals without having to adjust the brake.

Yessir, ENO rear hub and WI cog. The other side is setup for a FW, but for the past six months I have been digging the fixed gear setup. Since I have a two-year old running around it's nice to get a decent workout in 45-60 min

If I may appropriate some thread bravado:

I thought so too when I did not ride my Blade for a few years after ski accident, tib/fib/plateau fractures. #ouch Quit TT altogether.

Someone finally bought the frameset and I got more traditional.

Those bars are cool. I've been looking for something that shape. Where did you find them?

I picked them up locally. Looks like Budnitz went under so not sure what else is available in titanium with a similar shape these days....
