Thank you. Proportions are always an important factor for me. I knew when I took a chance on this bike that the geo would allow for a low stack height, play well with the campy aero post well maintaining a good fit. Oh yeah, and also the capacity for large tires.

Nice find.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but is this from the eBay seller in Poland that had several unfinished Merckx frames listed? There were a few I had my eye on but might have missed this.

That's him. He had another cx frame up with this one. It was slightly larger and had less chrome. From my understanding, he acquired them from the Merckx factory before the merger in 2008.

Incredibly cool bike man. I'm not even sure I would paint it. The patina is stellar. Seal it with a clear coat and ride it!
