Shipping from Canada to USA??

I came across a frameset on ebay that I am really interested in. It is located in Toronto and I am in Pennsylvania. If I were to bid and win am I going to have an difficulty getting this shipped to me? The most I would bid would be less than $500 USD. At that amount would customs get involved? If anybody has a similar experience I would appreciate any help.

Customs shouldn't be an issue, especially with that amount. As long as the seller completes the forms correctly, everything should be very smooth.

I've both shipped and received items with no issue.

I shipped a frame from Toronto to upper New York without a problem. I think it was around $70 Cdn to ship.

Shipping in Canada is expensive so take that into consideration when buying from this country.

You need to request the seller not use third party shippers and only stick to Canada Post/USPS. FedEx/UPS (and probably DHL) will pile on a mountain of charges for using their own customs clearing house. You could (in theory) clear it through the DHS/CBP clearance houses yourself, but you have to intercept the package at the port of entry.
