Campagnolo N3W freehub body question
Does Campagnolo make a N3W freehub body that is compatible with any of its QR hubs, e.g. that would work with a Bora WTO rim brake wheel? I’ve looked around and can’t find a definitive answer. And by “compatible” I don’t necessarily mean the factory lists it on a parts sheet, necessarily, just that it fits and works.

I’d like to try the 10-tooth Super Record cassettes with a Campy 12-speed mechanical / rim brake group using Campy wheels. There are a bunch of non-Campy rim brake hubs that use the N3W cassette body, so this is just a very specific question re Campy hubs.

Following. I had forgotten that the SR WRL cassettes include a 10 cog, might be interested in trying this (though I have Bitex hubs and see that there is a N3W FHB for them). Not sure it's worth it just for that bigger gear on the descents.

Yeah, I just like tinkering with things and was thinking the WRL cassettes would work well with the 48/32 crankset. Apparently people have made it work with SRAM Red12-speed cassettes with 10-tooth cogs (on SRAM cassette bodies obviously) but I’m curious if it can be done with all Campy parts.

I was able to confirm that Campagnolo does not make a N3W body that is compatible with any of its QR hubs. So to try one of the Super Record cassettes would require using a third party wheel/hub.

Thanks, Peter — that’s also what I heard from a Campagnolo rep. No axles compatible with the QR hubs. Too bad for the tinkerers although I get why Campagnolo wouldn’t make a compatible axle when the only groups that are officially approved for cassettes that need the N3W body use disk brakes. The third parties that offer the N3W body for all of their hubs seem to do so because it’s compatible with basically everything Campy from the last 20 years, so they don’t need to offer anything else.
