11-40 cassette on a campy freehub

11-40 cassette amp n Campagnolo Record hubs . I have a wheelset with Record hubs. They are really great wheels. I would like to use them on a 1x setup does anyone know of any tricks to get a wide range cassette on a Record campy freehub? I heard that there isn’t a shimano freehub for these wheels. And I haven’t seen yet an aftermarket 11/40 cassette for campy freehubs

Which rear hub? 9/10/11s? If it has an aluminum axle, you can put a HG compatible FHB o it. Picture of rear hub?

I just figured it out the record hubs and bora hubs axles and freehub are the same I swapped it with a shimano hub
So the older Record 11 campy hubs do fit the new 11 Speed shimano freehub that is made for the bora one hubs

Yes, sorta. 2007(pretty sure) the rear axle became ‘lobed’ and the FHB one piece aluminum. The Steel HG FHB fits on any Record hub from 1999 till today. The aluminum HG FHB onto the lobed axle rear hubs only. Both available as 11s.

Are you using the 11-40 with a Campy rear derailleur? I am assuming it is not, but curious...
