I was there a couple years ago and it was awesome. I am excited to hear the NAHBS will be back in Sacramento

Maybe they'll finally have an ebike win something at NAHBS.

I guess I'll take a Friday off and go up to the 'Dirty Sac' for the day.

There is even a brewery themed around bikes and dogs with a taproom at 9th and Broadway: https://bikedogbrewing.com/

Yes, I really like their Mosaic IPA...more of a session IPA. They also have more powerful ones and a great logo of a dog-bike.

Don't know anything about Sacramento.
Will it be held at the convention center at this address per Google search?

1400 J St, Sacramento, CA 95814

Have several friends on the west coast and visits are loooong overdue. Would be a good excuse and cool trip.

May also have LOTS of free time around that time next year too.

Lots of good Air BnB options not too far from there, but you'll want to book quickly..

Also, the neighborhoods do get a little sketch the further north you go from mid-town; I stayed at "C" and 19th or so I think though and it was okay - just a fair amount of homeless and drug activity - nothing new for me because, Portland, but others coming in from out of the area may not be so used to it.

My favorite place in Sacramento is Sun n' Soil Juice Co.

And riding from downtown up to Folsom and beyond on the American River trail is pretty cool.

I live in Sacramento - so I've been very fortunate to attend the two NAHBS's here. The location and amenities are excellent by any standard. That said, however, I would love to attend a NAHBS in the Midwest (Minneapolis, Chicago, Madison)...

That would be the place. Its right in the middle of what's called Midtown....there's plenty of restaurants and pubs around plus the new bball arena for the Kings (called the Golden 1 Arena) has brought a lot of new businesses down there. Its really nice.

Supposedly Don is looking into Minneapolis and Chicago for future ones. Who knows what'll happen. But it would be nice.

I heard from someone who lives there that the Convention Center is closed for remodeling. He said he didn't know when it was going to be reopened but since Don moved it back to March, maybe it'll be early March.
