Don't want to sound rude but the dude doesn't know how the thing works

U get sick... u heal or get better... whatever you call it.... u cant get anybody sick anymore. Besides the window to spread the stuff is really short once u get infected.., just a few days after you get infected... which in my case who knows where i got it... still dont know... once you know you are already sick you cant spread anything. So plus 1 to Dogrange.

The other detail, antibodies are still there so chances to get sick again are really low for a few months at least.

Not entirely true...

Perhaps I'm overly cautious?

I'm on the fence about this too. Fortunately/Unfortunately, COVID isnt a personal concern but is it even worth the trip from NJ if nobody will be there?

Half the number of vendors and there are still spots available...

I was thinking the same thing Uncle... I live closer than you. But i think it this way...

If U are afraid of covid just take your mask and use gloves to grab the stuff and you should be ok. Practice how to remove the gloves (theres a procedure for that) and toss the gloves in the trash can at the way out. And that should keep u fairly clean. As for the parts.. well put everything in a bag and when you get home just leave the stuff sitting for 10 days(ish) and good to go. Or just disinfect with the right stuff...

Now this is the interesting part... not many vendors, how many people will be there?? who knows, but if less people than ever you can have the chance to score stuff... shimano people IMO wont have a problem, campagnolo people is always an issue because some years you find nothing or what you find the guys try to sell it to mickey mouse numbers... I need 4 things, if arent there i will leave pretty sad And go to ebay i guess...

I dont really need anything. Mrs Cranky is just dying to go somewhere (anywhere!) but I'm not sure Westminster, MD is going to check the anywhere box.

What are you looking for?

Wheelset... looks like campagnolo record 10 braze on FD's are getting hard to find lately... a potenza silver (maybe or something else) crankset... whatever else that could look like a good buy like 26.4 handlebars... EM stem... new tubular tyres.

I think there were a few more than 20 . . .

. . . but no, not very many or very crowded. I found a red bottle cage I needed ($5) and won a pair of arm warmers by knowing "Missy the Missile" to answer the trivia challenge while standing outside waiting to get in.

Damn Covid. Maybe next year it will be back to normal and I can bring some more crap–er, I mean "valuable cycling merchandise" to get rid of.

I've been to this swap meet the last few years (including 2020) but had real reservations about attending this year. Based on these reports, I'm glad I didn't bother.

I'll be at the C3-Chesapeake Cycling Club table.

Our president will be promoting the club and I'll be selling parts, wheels, frame, jerseys and what not. Been a while since I've cleaned house. hoping for a good turn out.
