I also wrap my tube in a segment of old tube, in case I need a tire boot.

It’s well made but im not impressed.

I don’t like how the strap is loose at the end. am I missing something or does it just tuck in somewhere? Most photos conveniently hide that part.

I opted for it because it’s quite a bit cheaper, mostly, than my previous skin grows back plan b. It’s definitely not the same caliber as the previous bag so I feel a bit more justified in the exorbitant pricing

It is barely large enough for my 650b tube, a lever, and a stans dart. Will probably be flipping it!
Voile makes these strap keepers to keep the loose ends from flapping. I use them with my Orucase bag and work great

Thanks that will help a lot and may enable it to be a keeper instead!

I use a voile strap like this, with a strap keeper, to keep my Arundel pack affixed to my gravel bike. I keep a bunch in my backcountry ski bag too. Like duct tape, they can be used for all sorts of things.

I love to admit when I’m wrong and jumped to the negatives of the outer shell bag, the long, loose strap, which will be remedied with $3 clips on their way.

The bag itself is a treat to take on and off the bike and is perfect size now that I got a smaller tube (tubolito) and wolf tooth pliers/lever to replace a chunky pedros.
