I like Chibas.
Particularly cuz they have the pull tabs between the fingers.

I loved the Spenco brand but the company folded a few years back.
Giro makes a pair, pretty inexpensive and they’ve held up well thru two seasons so far and likely to hold up better than the numerous Lycra based gloves I have.

Many years ago in a rush I grabbed a pair of my sailing gloves for a ride, and I've been using sailing gloves ever since. Pretty much any quality brand will last forever because they're designed for endless hours of wet salty abuse. Closed fingers, open fingers, open thumb and pointer finger, heavy duty, light duty, etc. I happen to like the brand "Gul". Same price points as cycling gloves I believe.

Oh, and you can just throw them in the washing machine now and then.
