My ultra minimalist multi tool

Many months ago I went down a Kickstarter rabbit hole thanks to the routewerks handle bar bag. I came across this multi tool called the Daysaver. It's claim was ultra small 9 tools 45 gram multitool that functioned like a standard Allen key. What got me was they were partnering with PB Swiss.

I received mine today and I am super impressed. The quality is outstanding. Everything fits tight, not wobbling, super compact, and again did I mention the quality. Only issue is that those tiny bits can get lost when using them on the trail.

That is pretty cool.

With nothing at all inserted, how long are the two main "legs?"

Edit: a flat screwdriver bit is IMO one obvious thing that's missing.

I would estimate the same size as a standard small Allen key.

Thanks. I've spent far too long and done too many k's riding with no multitool. This looks perfect in terms of being light, minimalist and will get me out of any issue outside of a chain breaking.

Just bought one

How do you store the bits? Can they all fit somehow in the little black caps?

I have same problem with my mini ratchet .. how to store all the little bits.

This is pretty cool though.

It looks like 1,3,4 fit inside 2, and 5,6,7 fit inside 8. 2 and 8 go into the key and then get covered with the black caps.

Looks cool but they're asking US$87 on their site. Too rich for me.

Clever design.

What other minimalist tools did you find in the rabbit hole?

I've been debating getting the Park adjustable torque tool (4,5,6) but 67.00 bit much. I used a Ritchey preset for years, but that is long lost after move.

Other suggestions?
