Incredible morning ride. Check out the videos of you rides thread for the time lapse and drone videos.

Photos from your rides.

A beautiful day on the Island. The seasonal selective amnesia in which I forget that I hate the weather here for 6 months of the year.

First ride in shorts this year! 80 miles around the Island. Surprisingly few miles of road need to be ridden twice to get this much. Hit all six towns. 70F and sunny with not a lot of wind. Not a lot of traffic, they must have been at the beach!

Lilacs in bloom everywhere, lovely aroma as I ride by.

At first glance I wanted to cheer you on for riding the bike in that first photo for 80 miles!

Looks like a perfect day on the bike.

Isn't that bike a riot? Apparently a promotional item done for the beer brand, mid-1990s. Head tube says Made in Taiwan.

Wednesday turned out to be my cousin's birthday, so our spin down the golden gate bridge and into the Marin Headlands (thanks @slowpoke for the route) was to celebrate! The day started off foggy and chilly, making the golden gate bridge pretty gnarly. We passed a whole bunch of cyclists on their way back to SF, making me wonder if they were part of the Mt. Tam crew.

Granted it could have been colder, but being from SoCal, I was only rocking some arm warmers and a vest. Super curious, @joosttx, how do you layer for your early morning rides up Mt. Tam?

Anyway, the headlands were gorgeous, would totally do it again. We accidentally went did the reverse, and wasn't able to go all the way up Hawk Hill (at some point it is a one way path down hill). On the way back, the tunnel ended up being blocked, some police situation? *shrug*

We definitely started bonking after crossing the bridge back.

Lands End was pretty dang gorgeous as well, but by that time we were all too tired to take photos haha.

The city of Toronto came to its senses and decided to close lakeshore in the west end this weekend. Pretty nice ride including this section.

The weather robbed you of some of the most exquisite views in the world. How’d you like crossing the GGB? I would cycle into Marin more often if I didn’t have to cross that bridge.
