10 sp Campy downtube shifter back plates

From mid 2014 to early 2016 there was a thread entitled: "GROUP BUY: 10 sp Campy downtube shifter back plates". I was fortunate to be able to acquire a pair of Campy 10ps bar end shifters recently and would like to incorporate them into a mid 80's Guerciotti that I am bringing back to life. Anyone have a left SL-RE004 and right SL-RE003 backing plates that I might be able to source? Thanks!

Are those the little washer things with a bent/raised tab to stop the rotation of the lever? If so, I could use some too.

That's what they do but you don't really need the stop, they are more important as a spacer. I have a Paramount that I'm running with a set of 8 speed DT shifters. I was missing the back plates so mounted an easy to find NR back plate backwards (lever stop towards the DT) on the rear shifter. Shifter functions fine this way and since I seldom use the 12 cog anyway, the lack of a stop is never an issue as I'm not likely to go looking for a cog smaller than 12.

You can't put the NR plates on the conventional way with the indexed shifters as the diameter of the shifter body is too large to allow it to rotate, the lever stop gets in the way. Put on backwards the shifter will work fine. If you go past the small cog position the cable will go slack but derailleur function won't be affected, assuming high limit is set correctly.

Are they a specific match to convert 10sp bar-end shifters or would the back plates of old 8 or 7-speed Campagnolo Syncro shifters also do the trick?

The ones from second gen, Syncro 2, the indexed one with big knurled knobs, use a different part number(right one is, LH the same)..so I suspect the orientation of the flats and tab are different or the tab in longer on the Syncro3 ones as the barrel is larger as well(for 8s and 9s, and different rear ders..starting in 1992/3). Syncro 3 are first year, index only..1992/3...

OK, this seems to be a good place to ask this. I've got a set of 9 spd bar ends from my disassembled TT bike, can these be converted to 10 spd downtube shifters? If so what is needed, other than the 10spd gear)?
