You don't gain 40lbs. of muscle in 8 months without "better living through chemistry".

Tiger trashed his knee with all the power+torque... have you seen him in shorts ? Serious Chicken legs and a gazillion swings since learning to walk.

probably more likely that Cobra is his sponsor (at least that is what he is hitting in the photo), and they have a "ONE Length: line of clubs....

As far as bulking up for baseball...probably need to look at slugging percentage rather than batter average. Muscle mass doesn't let you hit better, just harder.

Not sure what you are trying to say about Cobra. Bryson started using single length irons. After his success Cobra sponsored Bryson and created a line of single length irons.

He is ranked #11 in the world.

He also trashed himself with all the faux Navy Seal training that had nothing to do with golf and all with dealing with his dad's death in a really unhealthy way.

Tomato tomahto.

Just saying that players play what sponsors tell them to....if he "invented" the concept of single length irons, good for him. I hope he got a patent.

i don't follow golf enough to understand the relative comparison of golfers of yesteryear vs. someone like this guy, or even tiger woods.

pick any well known golf course (that hasn't changed layout). are the scores close?

that's keeping in mind product innovations, of course (graphite/carbon used in various places, ball technology, metal woods, etc.).

Club head speed is exactly what it sounds like -- it's the speed of the club head during the swing.

Once he gets off the steroids maybe he'll take up cycling, like Bonds did.
