OT: micro stereo system with alarm functionality

I'm driving myself crazy looking for something that has the features i want.

i have had a small yamaha micro stereo system for just about two decades now, that has finally given up the ghost.

i need a replacement ASAP, as i use it every single day as my alarm clock.

specifically, i want a small system to sit on my nightstand that has decent audio, but importantly, i need to be able to set the time to have FM radio come ON in the morning and also what time it goes OFF.

seems most systems have a default of playing the radio for an hour and shutting off, that wont work for me.

to be clear, i dont want anything that requires a cell phone to set, does not need Bluetooth, wifi or anything complicated.

basically a high end clock radio that has good sound and can program alarm on/off times.

does anyone have a suggestion that meets this criteria?

Denon DT1. Not sure about alarm functions, though I know it has an alarm feature.

Angry pal, if there's a goodwill/thrift store close to you, I suggest you check it there first. With Bluetooth, and wireless, a lot of these older systems that have stereo and alarm function combo were abandoned on the shelves of these stores. I picked up 4 or 5 of those for less than $10 each and put them in my kids rooms to help them get up on time for school. Many of them have the older iPhone pod connection and I got a bunch of iPhone 4 & 5s for less than $20, put in their favorite Playlist or audiobooks for them to listen to.

Tivoli Music System BT?

Yamaha Desktop Audio System.

Those would be my choices.

You might check out these options. DreamSky seems to offer a lot of options and Sangean is a quality brand that I have used in the past on a semi-pro level in broadcasting.

And as Weisan mentioned; I still use a 25 year old Westinghouse clock radio that provides exactly what you're looking for. Seem to be a few of those on Ebay right now but at that age...you take your chances with noisy tuners and basic AM/FM speaker quality.

I was looking for something similar a couple years ago. The problem with most decent systems, like the Tivoli, is that they're too big to put on a nightstand. Ended up going with Alexa, which has the features and a surprisingly decent sound for little money.

EDIT: NEVERMIND
Did not read your requirement list carefully enough and i dont think you can set the off time..

These are pretty nice imo. Good sound. We have a couple of similar models but without alarm in the country house.

Yep,

after too much google searching, i think i'm going with a tivoli one and a digital outlet timer to turn it on/off.

i think that should do it.
