Happen to have a pic of them before they were cleaned up? Out of curiosity.

Just beautiful.

It must so gratifying to collaborate with someone generally acknowledged as the master of his craft.

Not that you aren't.

Awesome,
Too bad on the paint. Like painting a Ferrari using a drive thru carwash.

Sorry, I am not a Peg paintjob fan. I have seen two that I could stomach.

I think that your comparison is not a fitting one. Pego's paintjobs are not a-dime-a-dozen, love them or hate them.

Thanks.....

The fork is not a unicrown. I feel that the unicrown is just about the worst way to make a fork and do not offer them. It's an internal crown where the crown slips into the blades instead of the other way around. If you look closely right at the top of the blades you'll see a silver line where the blades and crown meet.

I like the seamless look of this crown to match a fillet frame and it looks just right to my eye and compared to a unicrown is lighter and stiffer laterally and they ride just right.

thank you Dave,
I did see the lines where you brazed in the crown but
guess I didn't fully understand the difference between what I know as a "unicrown",where the blades are welded to the steerer tube,i have a few RC Bianchi's with that type of fork and know they don't have the best reputation nor do they have room for much more a than 23mm tire.
I wouldn't have guessed they still made those type of crowns any longer..your spot on too,it goes well with that fillet frame.

Jeesh, even if you don't like his work there is NO DOUBTING the artistic genius, quality, and value of his work. You do the man a true disservice with your remarks.
