Kate Courtney on the cover of Outside Magazine

A tip of the hat to Marin's own Kate Courtney UCI MTB World Cup Champ and last year's World's Champ for making the cover of Outside Magazine.

You are going to see a lot of her on the way to Tokyo 2020.

She shared some great posts on the Olympic course in IG. That course looks tough!

Great to see a female cyclist gracing the cover. She's an amazing athlete. Looking forward to next year's summer games. Go Kate!!!

I'm a fan! It's a shame they didn't choose a photo of her on her bike. Her workouts are intense but she looks like any other fitness star in that photo. There are so many great photos of her on IG being amazing on the trails.

Glad she's getting recognition in the mainstream media. She's not just a champion cyclist, she's an amazing all-around athlete. Her work ethic and attention to complete fitness (not just another stick figure pro cyclist...) are impressive and inspirational.

Just think for a minute how different Kate's experience as an elite endurance athlete is from what Mary Caine went through at Nike under Salazar......

Kate Courtney on the cover of Outside Magazine

2018 when she was riding for specialized I saw her race (sea otter) and then sit at the table and sign posters later that afternoon. Remarkable how her path has ascended since.

Occasionally I’ve seen her “shark” sprinter van driving around while I’m out riding.

Chapeau to her!

She’s a stud. A decent role model for younger people (male and female).

Both my kids (son and daughter) think she is the coolest. Last year we would see her riding around the neighborhood is her World Champion's rainbow jersey.
