I'd be pretty happy with one of these parked in the driveway:

If I owned that I would put a little tassel on the spare so it looked like the car was wearing a fez.

Keeping it simple and bike related:

Moots RSL Disc with internal brake cable and Birch finish
Crumpton Disc
Parlee Z0 Disc
Sarto Seta Disc
Cryptic Disc
Mosaic Disc
Firefly Disc
Kelly Bedford Steel
Dave Kirk

I'm limiting this to things that still can be ordered, so a Nagasawa Road or 3Rensho aren't on it. A Zank is not on it for the same reason.

I spent some time yesterday, thinking of an off-take of Shag, Marry Kill and started thinking Carbon, Titanium, Steel.

A 4wd Sprinter conversion van, or similar, with the time and money to enjoy it. I'm pretty satisfied with my bikes at the moment...

A sony a7r4 and Zeiss Loxia 21mm lens, too!

Profitec Pro500. I never believed how much a better machine would make my lattes taste until I got this

i'd love a Profitec Pro600 or ECM Synchronika; too spendy though. A Quickmill QM67 would be nice though, paired with a Ceado E6P

Anyways, my lust these days is to be able to spend summers in a small-ish town in Europe (we really like Utrecht, NL) and take advantage of the lifestyle / cycling opportunities.

That said, I still haven't had a chance to try a pair of Lightweight carbon wheels, so I guess that is my current object of lust :-)
good on you

Just the usual stuff:
Fewer PSAs, fewer really OT threads, and a more interesting lust life....

Now, I'm sure that wasn't the conscious implication of the person who posted "Margot Robbie", but if our society is going to evolve to the point where our daughters, sisters, partners, and mothers don't have to spend their entire lives fearing being r@ped, we need to root this crap out, speak up and speak out to those who are unconscious of the implications of what they are saying, and stop thinking it's funny, innocuous, or okay to make those kinds of statements.

If you need to have a wank in private to express that lust, you do you - but in a public forum, that stuff needs to be called out for what it is and questioned.

And I for one am thankful for R3awak3n and others for doing so. I'm just filling in the gaps here.

I'll happily delete this post if the one that spawned it was deleted, and we can get back to objectifying objects and experiences - new, old, and vintage.

I think car lust is generally goofy, but I eat my words. That looks pretty amazing

Now, I will settle back into reality of a 2004 Subaru Forester

I'm totally content with my bikes and don't crave any possessions...

I could sure use some time to actually enjoy them.

That and for my damn sinuses to stop acting up.
