Emma has been mine for around 12 years. Colossus has been the object of my lust ever since Dazza posted this shot.

My #bikelust is pretty quenched right now tbh..

But if I had to dream, in no particular order, I'd like to put down deposits with the following builders:

- Kirk - for a Onesto version of a CSi (ie. steel racer), and a replica of his disc gravel Onesto
- Wages - for a polished-lugs strada semi-rando crossover
- Potts - for something somewhere between a drop-bar 29er and gravel bike (gravel plus?) - see BT's dream above..
- Holland - one of his carbon wunderbikes, and one straight up titanium for the road
- Bingham - titanium 29er
- English - some awesome carbon and steel mashup roadie
- Dinucci - lugged steel awesomeness
- Rolf (Alliance) - recreate my current one with just a bit different measurements and a steel fork (ie. superlight steel racer)
- AR Cycles - surprise me
- Hampsten - 2019 Anniversary Edition

And I need one of those #vanlife things too...

ENVE Wheels - I could never justify a new set, but maybe some used ones. I don’t think they’d make me any faster, but they just look sexy.

I have King R45 on Belgiums on my road bike and I know that is about as nice as an alloy wheelset gets, but I still lust for ENVE.

I lust for any anodized Firefly, painted Mosaic or big-legged Stelbel.
I lust for celeste Bianchis.
I lust for Hampsten MAX bikes.
I lust for Ciavete Responsoriums... Responsoria (?)
I lust for fresh new tires.
I lust for Yeti and Santa Cruz MTBs.
I lust for look of Mavic carbon and exalith wheelsets (though I dislike the rear hub noise and draggy bushings).
I lust for horizontal fade painted old Kleins.
I lust for turquoise/teal/celeste/aqua paint schemes.
I lust for swoopy S-curved seat stays done right.

i had occasion recently to take a quick test on a modern super swank carbon and titanium gravel bike with discs and a suspension fork. oh. my. goodness.

that's all i could say.

and that was only in the parking lot...

....as i literally rode up curbs and stopped with enough force that some eyeball juice flew outta the sockets.

i wanted to beat the snot out of said bike on crappy and smooth hardpack roads to really see it shine, and shine i'm sure it would.

sorry no pics, you'll have to take my word for it.

so there's that.

Seen this...hesitated...it was gone....

Serotta Aloha.jpg

In anyone EVER sees this again, or similar size, drop a PM. I may need to resort to extraordinary measures. Oh, this is a lustful thread. The unobtainable. Oh well.

Serottas generally do not move the needle for me, and gaudy colors even less, but this machine refutes my bias.

My bike lust is pretty much fulfilled at the moment, but I would love a Ciavete big leg Emma. I was tempted to jump on Ryuns, but it was just a little too long in the top tube for me.

Nothing cycling related rises to a "lust" level for me. But an original Shelby AC Corbra, or a split window Stingray, now those are lust worthy.
