$1180 for a jacket, jersey, shorts and outer baggies....... Urban coffeeshop posers might be interested in their gear but hopefully there aren't enough of them in the sport to keep the company in business very long.

How much! That's like my entire bike repair and clothing budget for an entire year.

I don't even spend that much on my work clothes. You know what I want in terms of clothes? I want a crew neck merino wool t-shirt with pocket on the back, that's it. And I don't want to spend more than $50.

The thing that gets me is that it's made for mountain biking. I catch unmitigated hell if I wear bibs on a mtb ride. I can't imagine what would be said if I showed up at the trail head with a jersey "based on an English shooting jacket."

This one is $30. Take it to a seamstress or have your wife/girlfriend/friend add a pocket. Too bad this post didn't start yesterday because they were available for 35% off.

Just ordered 3 and got a further 20% off by using the code "SITEDAY513".

Happy days. I have couple old merino t's than I'll cut up and use to make the rear pockets, I do so love a project.

Thanks again.

You're welcome. I've been using the long sleeved zip neck version for mountain biking and am impressed with the fit and quality.
