Interesting, I have worked for Harley-Davison for 25 years and have owned lots of motorcycles. Several have been BMW but only 1 Harley.

I never owned a Harley but I owned a Harley shop. That was back in the AMF days

I have a 1978 Honda CB550F (Dustin Kott) Custom..

Just found a clean 1978 BMW R100/7 I'm changing the rear subframe, Painting the wheels and getting new spokes, and keeping it class. Wanted to keep all of the stock BMW parts, so all the new stuff will be easily removable.

The AMF years. That would’ve been a good time to own a repair shop.
I had a coworker who had an AMF Harley, and I never knew a bike that could vapor lock at such low ambient temperatures.

If you want to 'keep it class' then don't hack it into another 'cafe' bike with no rear end and knobby tires. They ruin a perfectly good airhead...

Had a LOT of work done on my bike, finally got it home yesterday.

Took it out to Hudson to Moto Coffee Machine to hang and chat over coffee with some folks with GS's and Ducatis.

A long ago company party Dad threw at our rural property turned into a bunch of us kids on motocross bikes and one inebriated truck driver on his Harley chopper racing around the track we’d made in the pasture. My one visual memory is Al stuffing that chopper into a head-high wall of blackberry vines at speed. Vapor lock would have been a good thing that day.

Last year I sold my red BMW S1000R and got a red sports car instead! Its so much fun I really don't miss the motorcycle and that surprised me. I was afraid that would not be the case.

Nice car. I would like something similar, but at 6'2" I think the Mazda would be a tight fit.

it is a wee bit more expensive but an M2 would be perfect for your height
