Bisbee Bicycle Brothel

This place is amazing and the owner, Ken, is super nice!

Much more a museum than shop, as most is NFS. If you ever get a chance to visit... GO! Town is pretty cool as well.

I spent a lot of time in Bisbee on a job. I can confirm that Ken is a cool guy, and the shop is amazing. The whole town is amazing. If you find yourself down there, I can wholeheartedly recommend a meal at Santiago’s or the Screaming Banshee followed by some time at the Stock Exchange and St Elmos. Stay in one of the classic hotels (Copper Queen or Eldorado) Get your coffee from Seth at Old Bisbee Roasters on the way out of town the next morning.

Patagonia and Karchner Caverns nearby

Patagonia in the middle of the best nowhere you ever been.

Karchner Caverns an incredible state park with mind blowing cave tours. Did I say mind blowing. I meant mind blowing.

Visit while you can. His wealth of knowledge and his history in the bike world will be missed when he closes his shop.

I was just there end of February! Very cool shop. Bisbee is a neat little town too. A group of us vintage bike nerds hung out there chatting with Ken for about an hour and a half.

I think there's a phone number posted on the door. He's the kind of guy who'd come in if able and open up the shop to show one around.

I'll have to put this on the list ... not sure when (if ever) I'll get to Bisbee.

Reminds me of Ol' Spud's Vecchio's in terms of the amazing collection of bikes and memorabilia on display!

Paceline should maintain a list of shops that house these kinds of collections, file under "Shops to Visit" ...

worth a visit

I visited Bisbee Bicycle Brothel in 2016 when I was working in nearby Douglas for a few weeks. The owner was incredibly nice - helped me find some good local routes. He had a ton of great stories about organizing races in the US in the 80s/90s, including a very funny story about how the "Tour de Trump" came to be.
