Speedvagen 58cm, Enve, Sram red, DT Swiss 240, Look 2 Max

This seems like a really good deal, although I am a little concerned about why it needed to be repainted.

you consider $3500 dollars + 125 to ship for a steel, rim brake road bike that has been repainted and has effectively ancient components a "really good deal" ?

Colnago Master - Wordperfect Team Bike - $1000

Maybe not an amazing deal, but certainly fair.....nice groupset, wheels, and components for the price. Frame looks to have some wear, but nothing terrible. It's in a dry climate so I'm guessing rust is non-existent. Plus, it was Frans Maassen's....he was pretty good in his day and definitely not just a random domestique.

I mean, not when you say it like that...but it does seem like speedvagens are usually a lot more than that. I guess they are also usually built up with better components, though. You can make an offer, though, so maybe someone will get a good deal.

Sachs.

Bikes like this make me smile. This one looks like it lived a good solid life in VT somewhere and has really been used. I like to look at bike like this that has obviously been ridden hard and well loved over a pristine garage queen any day. it's a shame that many iconic bikes today cost an arm and leg and most owners will baby them as "sunday bikes". i hope someone buys this one and keeps it rolling here in new england.

I don’t know who needs a 56cm peg but this is a nice looking little bike. ~61cm and I’d be all over this
