Paredown, thanks for the lead on this 585. I picked it up last night from a very nice lady in Connecticut. It looks to be in good nick and will make a fun winter project.

54cm Serotta Nova Special X, $800 on NYC CL:

https://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/b...227969821.html

Quote:
For sale is a Serotta Nova Special X from 1990 with Columbus SLX steel.

It is approximately a 54 CM frame. I am the second owner and the original owner let me know it was custom made for him so the top tube is slightly longer than the seat tube. The seat tube is 21" while the top tube is closer to 22".

Components:
Shimano Dura Ace 8/9 Speed group set including brifters, brakes, derailleurs, crank set, and headset.
Cinelli stem and handlebars.
Ultra hubs laced to Mavic rims with 25 MM Continental tires.

It has some rust spots where the paint got scratched off, but has no dents or dings. I've owned it for about 6 years but didn't ride it as much as I would like to admit. Awesome paint job that always gets compliments.

I'll be keeping the Brooks saddle and pedals, but can include a generic saddle and pedals for the new owner.

We are moving out of NYC so time to unload but will take it with me if no one is interested.

Please reach out if you have any questions.

Maglia Rosa NYC demo bikes + frames

Maglia Rosa recently added a page to their site to clear out some demo bikes and frames. While not the cheapest you will find, some good deals nonetheless on well-finished high-zoot offerings. The Legend is tasty but my fave is the Seven 622 (creative paint).

My budget is again grateful the sizing isn't quite right!

Just saw a Pinarello Montello SLX road frame in size 56cm on Craigslist. Very reasonably priced too!

Some beauties there - but fortunately just a size too small.. That Evergreen or the Hampco I couldn't resist if they fit.

This was posted here back in June, but the new listing has dropped the price from ~$3k back then to $1,800 now.

Firefly Cyclocrosss Bike: 57cm-Columbus XCr-ENVE-TRP-Force-18lbs-$1,800
