man oh man, thats is a great looking bike, well done! that color/decal scheme is one of my all time favorites of serotta and pics don't do it justice.i remember the first serotta i ever saw in person on a big pay ride in oklahoma city was the exact same bike.i lusted after one of those ever since that day.really an iconic serotta imo

from the photos the paint looks really pristine for a 20 year old frameset

Thanks, guys.

I'm personally not a fan of 8-speed record, so the group might be getting replaced in the not-too-distant future.

Leaning towards 6800 (I've always been a Shimano user), though I won't discard newer Campy just yet.

Funny you should mention that.

I was already leaning towards 6800, then looked at your CSi build thread. Looks perfect. I'm sold.

I agree. We need more neon fade paint jobs.

Also, all the Campy parts are finally off, and my 6800 group arrived, so it's time to get this rebuild started.

Nearly done with the changes.

Not quite sure about that black seatpost.

6800 looks pretty nice on bright frames.

I think the black seatpost is better than silver would be. I would suggest a black headset if anything.

Thanks, guys.

@Keith A The bars are Civia Emersons.

@thirdgenbird I found an "ice grey" PRO PLT seatpost that matches the stem perfectly. I'll be trying that out to help with the debate.
