Matching tubes to tires
How much do you guys care about matching tube sizes to tires?
Example: Looking for tubes for 28-30mm tires. My usual brands are out of stock...however, tubes for 18-25mm are in stock. Will those work with 28mm tire? What is the downside?

No science behind it, but I routinely use "smaller" tubes on 28 or 30 mm tires without issue. 35mm+, I use larger tubes.

Those tubes would not be a great match for 38 mm tires, but they will work perfectly well with 28 mm tires.
