"has a small crack on the headtube"...

what a bummer!

this is really a nice looking 'nago and in about my size. unfortunately, i think it's the second one i've seen with cracked head tubes.

seller is nuts IMO, but it's cool to look at!

Isn't a small crack on a head tube akin to a flesh wound to the heart?

Bad headset pressing job?
Yeah that price is nuts. That price is more in line with a crack free frame.

But the paint looks good. That's what counts.

Means it'll be great wall art.

Dreams might have gone for that 8-10 years ago...today you can pick up a nice clean C50 for the same money, or less...and while the Dream is a really nice riding aluminum bike, nobody wants aluminum Colnagi.

People would rather have a Taiwanese made monocoque Colnago frame than an Italian built Dream.

Go figure.

This Dream, though, I would pass on. That crack will never be smaller.

Note, the C50 is a lugged carbon frame made in Italy...

Full disclosure aside, shouldn’t he be pricing it as wall art material instead of something to be ridden?

.
I had a Dream with BStay. It was color AD11 (red and black), with the black portion being spray painted with a carbon weave, so it looked like a C50. I bought it brand new back in 2003 from Maestro UK for $850.

The listing looks to be down. What size do you need? I have a nice 52x54 Master Piu that needs a new home.

Thanks,
Tom
