For the Tucsonans in here.

UofA cop yesterday 4:30 PM, Ina Rd. west of Oracle. He drove like this until LaCanada.

Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy doesn't it?

Uncover the plate. They are public servants and have no right to anonymity while performing their job.

No chance. My office is just off campus and I don't need to deal with retaliation.

I called a plumbing company because one of their employees was driving on the shoulder on Bainbridge Island, WA. For miles. The person answering the phone told someone, "it's another call on ............ about driving on the shoulder". The owner got on the line and told me it would be taken care of.

Send it to me. I'll hide any reference to you and share it with the UofA police.
I wonder what he was doing in a UofA vehicle 12 miles from campus?

Is there a way of scrubbing the metadata off of a picture or would you print it and scan it?

My route home put me behind him for quite a ways, it looks like he* was heading home.

*He is a placeholder as I cannot be certain of this.

google "exif editor" and you should find a number of free tools capable of deleting any of the metadata.

UofA has a lot of property in the area, mostly for rangeland and ecology research as well as the different observatories around town. Biosphere might be included in this too, not sure of the current ownership arrangement there. Anyway, UA police might have business there. A woman I dated in grad school was doing her research at Madera Cyn. I've also seen the UA police on Kitt Peak.

Regardless, please find some way to anonymously report this. Policing the police is an important part of a free society.

I have a thought. Build a collection of these, (my observation isn't unique), and send them to the media.
