There's also a canadian guy who will do them and just sell you a new one. I've gotten a couple from him via ebay and it is reasonable, and they work fine. I don't know if he is still doing it on ebay but he went by the name hugolasco. I paid 125 each for them, a new cassette in the box with the machining done. They were 11-32 and 11-34 so they weren't the cheap ones either.

I've modified a few DT freehub bodies to take stock 11spd cassettes. Better solution than modifying a semi-consumable cassette IMO. But both work just fine once done.

True, but the solution for the reverse compatibility once milled is just to put a spacer in there. Shimano cassettes might even have them in the box iirc.

Also curious about the cost from kinetix. Lasco charges about $45 usd, but shipping back and forth from Canada get a little pricey

11-34 cassettes fit a 10 speed cassette body! (at least the 8000 series, they come with the 11 speed spacer)!

I think when I got mine 8000 wasn't out yet.

yes, using the cassettes on original King ISO hubs... will fit on the classic hubs.
