eebrakes G3 vs G4... significant difference between the two versions?

For those who have tried both the G3 and G4 versions of this brake, are there any noticeable differences between the two with regards to both setup/maintenance as well as performance/braking power? I know they changed to a stiffer spring and a couple other small parts with the G4 version, but don’t know if that actually translates into noticeable improvements in real world use.

I plan to buy a pair but trying to decide if any improvements with the G4 justify the increase in price, as the G3 seems to be discounted at multiple online sites.
