Selling this made sense at the time, but at the time, I didn't think Serotta would ever go under. Fortunately, my next project is a Seven Elium, so I'm hoping for some similar magic.

ā€˜85 Merckx Pista

No velodromes near me and I live in the hills so didnā€™t think it would get much use. Itā€™s a cool bike though.

My old Rock Lobster. To make it worse the new owner said it was wrecked by a car.

I only had this bike for a short time--financial difficulties forced a sale less than a year after I bought it. Only carbon bike I've ever owned, and I feel like I barely got to know it . . .

My brotherā€™s Raleigh GP that he gave me about 30 years ago.

Sold it to a friend of my son when they were in HS.

Wish I had it back

Not my frame in the image, but similar to a pearl white circa 1986 vintage Lemond Team Pro .... it was a sweet ride that I believe was built by Roland In Reno.

My first bike bought on the forum - the Yamaguchi - it's in good hands, but I still miss it...

I don't regret selling it - I just wish I still had it.

My old Ian Laing road bike. SLX, Mavic SSC, and that beautiful Laing wishbone rear-end.

I grabbed this photo from Ian's FB page as I can't seem to find any photos of the bike. It was replaced by the Davidson Ti.

Mine was sun burst like the one on the second photo.
