Feedback on disc road wheel build - DT Swiss

I’m looking to build up an inexpensive and lightweight wheelset for a road disc bike. I’ll be running either 28’s or 30’s, nothing bigger. These will be for road with an occasional detour perhaps. Not intended for dedicated gravel riding.

I weigh 158 dressed to ride.

I’m thinking...
DT Swiss 350 hubs
DT Swiss XR331 rims
DT Swiss Revolution spokes.

This will give me a relatively light and inexpensive wheelset but all DT Swiss.

Well aware of the old adage, light, cheap, strong, pick two. But for the stated purpose I’m hoping these will be pretty close to ideal. Again given the purpose.

Thoughts, comments, alternatives?

I think those would work fine. The only things I would recommend is 'maybe'
-R411 instead in that they make off center drilled rims, nice for even disc wheels and
-Use 14/15/14 double butted spokes(Sapim Race or DT Comp) on the drive side rear

I have some prebuilt DTs (PR1600) great wheels, which I also use as my "gravel/dirt" wheels, held up very well. Also have some hand builts using 350s and Xray spokes (carbon 45mm) that are great. Curious why you're using (guessing width?) the mountain bike rims? I run 25-33s on mine, most of the time I'm at 28s. Anyway I think you'll be very happy with your choices.

I built up a pair of 411s. Built nicely. For a light rider (or one that rides lightly) I'd say stick with the suggestion of 411s. At most the next heavier rim (440s?)

An alternative would be HED Belgiums or Belgium + rims

440s are gone in favor of 411s..PLUS HED quite a bit heavier..30 grams or so but..more $ also..BIG fan of the 'new' range of DT rims..411/412, others.
