Is there a liner in my PF30 BB shell?

I think I know what's going on but would like to confirm so I don't cause harm. This is about the BB of the Firefly I bought from Ari. Tonight I pulled the Record 11 crankset which was installed in the Firefly's PF30 BB using a Praxis Works conversion BB. After the Praxis came out, there looks to be a dark grey liner, perhaps even plastic, inside the titanium BB shell. Its ID is 42mm, which I understand to be the BB30 standard, whereas the PF30 I understand to be 46mm (I have no experience with either, this is what I've read.) My new Wheels Manufacturing PF30 BB to go with the SRAM Red crankset measures 46mm OD. Is this a sleeve and what's the best way to remove it?

If you've got a couple of pictures of everything you're talking about, that'd help.

The installation instructions should answer your question - yes there is a delrin sleeve for PF applications ... #4 in the exploded view.

Based on install instructions it should slide out. Hopefully the installer did not use adhesive to secure it in place. (not the end of the world but would make your install much more difficult)

I had one of these in an old supersix frame and it's pretty easy to slide out as long as you brace the frame a lot and either tap it out with a drift or press it out. It's not a job to be done while held in a work stand however, so you'll need some sort of large flat surface area.

But as the poster above noted if possible ask the previous owner how it was installed - if permanent adhesive was used the Delrin cylinder is in there forever.

Thanks very much. I didn't think to look at that set of instructions because I have the product made for the Campy crankset, not the M30
