OT: Car Seat Kick Mats
Tired of the kiddo getting winter funk on my seat back. I had a kick mat that was junky and fell apart, but perhaps there are good ones out there. With all the folks here who are as diligent about their cars as about their bikes, I thought someone might have suggestions.

I have Cabelas slip on seat covers for the front seats of my truck, they cover the back of the seat and have mesh pockets and such for storage on the back. They were only $30 or so.

Put the kiddo in the seat upside-down. That should solve the problem and save you money on a new mat.
Sorry; I don't have a real solution. Good luck with your search.

be careful with seat covers or anything you put on the backrest of a modern car's front seats. many have embedded airbags and unless you use something specifically designed to "break-away" with airbag release, you could have an issue during a crash.
we have some seat covers on the front seats of our van designed to work with seat mounted airbags and the back side has some pockets and stuff. works fine for us. i would agree with you though, that most of the stuff you typically find for this specific purpose is junk that is not made to last at all.
