This has gotten very thought-provoking.

Hey,those are some great picture-taking tips. I guess I've been violating all the rules.

Where are the pictures? Threads in the Image Gallery must have pictures! I feel like I'm "reading" a girlie mag, searching through for the pictures but there aren't any!

from the post on the merckx bike for sale:

"The photos need to be less than 145 K, I think. So far, I've had pretty good luck using Photoshop Elements > Save for Web to set up photos for upload. I'm sure Photoshop has the same feature. I think there is also an 800 pixel size limit in largest dimension as well...

AND

"Welcome to the Image Gallery!

Please follow these guidelines when posting:

-Start a new thread for your image with an appropriate subject
-File size must be smaller than 100 kb and less than 800 by 800 pixels

If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions on this new image gallery, feel free to email me at alyson@serotta.com"

I compressed the photos and hit save for the web and still couldn't get them to post. i also reduced them down below 100kb, 800x800 pixels and still can't get them to post so i don't know.

pretty bike.

open the link, do a "save as" of the image you wish to use, move image to your drive where you can find it, put the cursur over the image on your drive to see the size, reduce % so that largest side is under 800, save as a B version, then insert in "mange attachments".

Hi wecaonimabb789-

Welcome to Serotta Forums! You've been very busy posting! Serotta_Pete has asked that you place these comments in the Off-Topic subfolder. What kind of bicycle do you ride?
