Also of interest: "This AP2 S2000 has 10k miles and is now offered with two key fobs, manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title."

Always liked the S2000. Shame that they quit making it. However I think my wife might frown upon such a purchase at this moment.

But it's a Honda (you're getting it primarily because of it's legendary reliability) _and_ it has two key fobs. Purely practical reasons - she can't possibly be against that!

Yeah but I’m at the “I need room for 4 other adult size humans, athletic gear, teammate carpools, and a Great Dane” stage of life.

That's why it's just the back-up car. There's plenty of room if you're willing to think (literally) "outside the box."

(of course this is all just a joke - merely having fun, now that the crisis is over)

I'm sure the keys will show up eventually.

Love it, great van, plenty of room for teens, dogs, bikes, etc. it came with one remote key fob, 2 black keys, and one grey key. Thursday evening I managed to lose my keys somewhere around the house. We’ve throughly gone through the house and can’t find them. Keychain had the remote fob, a black key, Thule rack keys, office key, storage unit key, plus a handful of keys for work. Fortunately I hadn’t locked the van Thursday night so I was able to drive my kids to school and get to work Friday. Stupidly, I locked it with the interior button last night. Woke up this morning to take my son to a cross country meet and discovered that neither my spare black or grey key can unlock the door. Fortunately I have roadside assistance with my insurance so I got the van unlocked. Which set off the car alarm. Which I can’t turn off because I lost my fob. Because my keys don’t unlock the driver door, I can’t turn it off that way either. Disconnected the battery, reconnecting it sets the alarm off. Apparently there is a hood latch switch that if disconnected will disable the alarm, got my hands all greasy but couldn’t get it off. I’d planned a 50 mile ride through the Columbia Gorge today, but instead I’m sitting at home, wallowing in rage at myself for being so careless, wondering how expensive this will become and how annoyed my neighbors will be by the time I’m able to disable the alarm. Grr, rant over, thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
Rest assured that we have all had those days. Go easy on yourself.

Yes, plans are afoot for a “backup car”, after a home purchase early next year.

im still looking for my ATM card that I last used in March. It's somewhere in the house, maybe when I bring out the winter gear I'll find it.
Have a beer. You have earned it. Cheers

My lazyboy type recliner spit out a card after three searches of it...

Probably sounds crazy but I would thoroughly check your refrigerator/freezer for your keys.

Ford man, I'm sorry to say but I could not help LMAO at this post

I feel ya though. I am the sort of person who believes that everything has it's place and I know what those places are. I know where the pliers should be, the scissors, the tape, the wrench and so on but every time I go to grab it, it's not there.

I tell myself, 'whenever you have something in your hand put it back where it belong.' Don't say things like, well I'm gonna be back here tomorrow working on it so I'll just leave it here. No no no! Put it back NOW. Then you will know where it is.

Interestingly my wife and I discovered yesterday that the key fob with the dead battery will NOT open the gar door.. *** is up with that anyway? The door has a key slot in it but the key will not open it old school like. Fortunately we have another FOB but what happens when you are in the grocery store and the battery finally dies? IT's really a terrible design.
