My ride today with pics

Oh BTW,
Apparently I'll be getting a little compensation for the Porsche in Cement story.
Took these pics today.
Rode up to Mt Davidson then over to Twin Peaks. Mt.Davidson is kinda steep at 900+ ft at about a mile distance from my house then I rode over to Twin Peaks.

Nice little workout and great weather. Once I got onto the grounds of Mt Davidson I took the south side (dumb) it never sees the light of day during winter and is always wet (I forgot) about 75 ft from the top I had to dismount since it's pretty steep and trail gets muddy,no traction. Any suggestions for good gripping wet/muddytrail/street 25-28c tires? I was on Vittoria CX evo open corsa 25c.

But once on top you get rewarded with spectacular views.
Seeing Twin Peaks in the background gave me another destination.

This is from Twin Peaks looking towards Mt. Davidson, highest point in San Francisco then Twin Peaks.

Then comes the real fun part all the way home, wheeeeeeeeeee

Nice pictures. The last time I was in San Fran they were putting the top on the TransAmerica building. It was a great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

nice pics - as usual! looks like a great day.

quick question: what kind of knickers are you wearing there, something like that would be perfect for my commute??

Cutter Tech Knickers but difficult to find. I had wished I purchased a couple more pairs, got mine on Bonktown.

Yes I rode the dirt trail but could have used a better suited tire.
Here is a little history of the bike.

If this is as steep as it looks, I doubt you'll find the grip you need in a knobby 28mm tire without dropping your tire pressures low enough to make it hairy on the road. Walking is probably your best option here if this is the only section like this.

Cool pics though!

Well Almost, coming down from the Mt. Davidson trail I almost flipped over because of the incline but since it was slippery I just continued to slide until I found my balance. Otherwise I could have came off looking like this....
