The weather is inclement in my neck of the woods and I won't be able to take her for a long ride for some time now, probably over a week given the current forecast.

My Orange Bike (The Flying Pumpkin)

Here's my orange bike that I dubbed the Flying Pumpkin. It's a late 80's vintage Specialized Expedition (I think) that I rescued from a bad rattle can paint job (see before photo). I had it powder coated Safety Orange and build it up as a long distance and adventure bike.

89 Merckx

This is my 1989 Merckx Grand Prix. 753 tubing, Super Record w/Cobalto brakes. The color is a bit off from Molteni Orange because the painter used a tinted clear coat over it. Still a very beautiful shade.

Another Orbea Euskaltel Team Starship. This one has zeus carbon stays instead of the previous columbus carve carbon stays. Super smooth all arounder.

Nice Kirk. With the coupler placement, it looks like it would be hard to pack, is it or am I just looking at it wrong?

Thanks,

Paul
