Welcome to the forum!

I've never heard of jqueen. I wear a $10 Casio, and an expensive box for it would be silly.

What kind of bike do you ride?

I'm a fan of Oris watches, although I prefer some of the other BC3 models over that one.

Pix

Such a long thread and no pix? Thought I'd better remedy that.

I've had Omega, Sinn, and Oris watches, but reduced the once large collection down to these two.

Well, hope you have further narrowed your search among the three watches you specifically mentioned.

My omega is dumped on my bedside stand every night no box and the only place it is stored is on my wrist.

That said, if you want to spend a few hundred and have time, have a carpenter make one. I had a jewelry box made for my wife by a local craftsman that is very high quality and gorgeous. Now it’s heaped with a tangle of cheap jewelry that never gets worn - I guess I could’ve given her a shoe box

I’m a fan of Wolf. Very happy with the fit and finish and excellent customer service.

Mine olds my straps and watches with of course a couple empty spots for future purchases.

I hear there are a lot of aggressive watch winder sales professionals out there. It's a lucrative and growing market, just behind chimney sweeps . It was only a matter of time before someone jumped on the huge untapped market that is Paceline forum.

I like Omega and Sinn. That's not the Sinn I would pick, I think the 856 and 556 meet your needs and look better, so I voted Omega, but I question a quartz? Maybe the Aqua Terra with silver face on the Co-Axial movement, very similar.

OT: Paceline Timepiece Talk

Hello People of Paceline:

We seem to have a lot of watch talk lately.

I'm going to merge it all together here to keep it in one place.

Timepiece aficionados welcome!

oof, this merge went a little sideways with the timing of the posts, but i think it'll smooth out if we use it moving forward.

apologies for the choppy merge, but i'm not sure how i could have fixed that.

Fun Fact:

as of these days, in the city of Munich Rolex watches are completely sold out, which caused headlines in the local media. No ****, sherlock.
