Gotta respect the attention to detail in matching his checkerboard Vans with the checkerboard floor.

Heard about these but never saw one. Would buy it if if fit. Anyone here have one and ride it? I've heard pros and cons.

If you search "Hors" here, you should find some good thread content.

Didn't see the listing soon enough for buy it now. Too many bikes for me as well, and most likely moving in the next couple years. Will be giving up a basement.

Still going to keep an eye on this one.

I had one and let it go. Just a bit too long in the TT...but I would buy it back even today. Nothing goes down the hill like the Hors. If the person that bought mine still has it...and wants to sell...I am all in.

I had never seen a Hors category before. What is the purpose of the way the seat stays are. I understand the arc in the tubing, but are those some type of attachment or adjustment mechanisms near the top and bottom of them?

The rear pivots are not much different than a Legend ST pivot. Add in the curvature with the elastomer (the attachment points you see) and the rear end tracks more firmly adhering to the road surface. I would defer to David Kirk on the actual philosophy and design criteria but I can tell you on a decent, in curves, the track of the bike is awesome as it seems to literally stick, or adhere, to the surface. Otherwise you really just get a very compliant ride with no energy loss perceived.

@mdeeds71, thanks much for the information! I see you once owned one of these, and liked it enough you would repurchase. This is a temptation. I like the looks and your explanation adds to that. Not all that much time to wait and see where the price goes. It looks like it is going to attract further attention. I certainly do not need another bike, but, as I see it, the uniqueness, looks and quality of ride are very attractive. And just the right size.

Personally, I consider my collection pretty complete at this point but a hors (60cm) would be the only bike I would add. Except even when they come up, they tend to have stupid asking prices.
