Are you really building that C40 w/ shimano Tiagra?
It´s so obscene i actually think it´s cool.

Came in this afternoon.

My first Colnago.

Should have it built by tomorrow, almost done.

It already exceeded my expectations.

Everything a Colnago should be. Looks like it’s in great shape. IMHO the pinnacle of carbon production frames. The later iterations are a touch harsh for my measley pedaling power. The C40 is juuuuuuuuust right baby bear. . .

weisan, hell yah dude. that frame is bonkers.

and the cheap group is cracking me up. good for you. I bet it rides fine and looks great actually.. ok the shifters are pointed way up and you need a silver post but thats it, looks pretty great to me

I was with you on the Sora components. I hate to admit it as a Campy snob, but I've been riding a Serotta CSI lately with 105 10 speed and it works really well.

I'm ok with clamping the top tube because you are aware of what you are doing, and a C40 isn't a fragile frame that is going to instantly crack.

But please, lower the shifters on the bars.
