Anyone riding an Otso Warakin?
There's a lot about this bike I find appealing - stainless steel, mounting for anything, great clearance, stainless steel (2)...
anyone have one to share their rider impressions? |

My friend is their East Coast rep. He got one and seems to really like it (he'd tell me if he didn't). I was already looking at them some time ago as a not-terribly-expensive stainless option. Would have pulled the trigger by now but simply don't need another bike, trying to be happy with what I have.

I purchased one. SRAM force 2x with HED gravel wheels. Rides great looks great.

Wasn't their geo kinda weird? I feel like I'd read a lot about folks being kinda confused by it.

I think they might have updated the Geo on the newest stainless steel model. I was looking at the older Waheela and the seat tube angle was 72 degrees which is just way to slack for their smallest sizes. The current Warakin seems to have fixed that.

That's my consensus as well. I have one and love the ride and the look of the stainless frame. I've compared it to a lot of other framesets whenever I get the itch for something new. The geometry ends up being similar to the other options I was interested in, but they didn't have more to offer than what I already had. Can't justify getting anything else at this point.
