Lots of riding . . .

. . . this past week. These are from Tuesday when two friends and I did a 45 mile paved/gravel ride on the west side of Lake George in the Adirondacks. Lots of climbing, lots of lakes, lots of fun with friends.

Love River Road. Poolesville must have been nice yesterday with that weather.

Photos from your rides.

Pretty moody out today. Headed north for some quiet roads.

Hey BBD.

I've been off the Forum for a while and now dabbling my feet back in.
Nice to see some things haven't changed (much).

Nice cool morning in NJ today. Perfect riding weather. Saw a lot of groups riding together on my way home. I'm continuing to ride solo though.

I like River Road between Potomac and Seneca. But I usually turn off River onto Montevideo or Partnership due to the weird, wavy pavement on River. My ride yesterday was round trip between Bethesda to Poolesville, out via River but coming back via Darnestown, Berryville and Glen. You are in the area?

that's a cool photo, where is that statue?

also FYI, not that i'm doing any group rides either, but Murphy just said OK for groups up to 25 outdoors, so technically small group rides are not doing anything wrong.

It's in downtown Summit, across from the NJ Transit train station.

Oh yeh, those are my haunts too-- coming out from Rockville I go in every which direction except east where there are too many cars. I head out to Poolesville more in the warmer seasons though as most of my miles are in the dark, either before dawn, or at night, so I keep more to the lit suburban roads when I can in the darker months. These days are perfect for heading out there though.

Yeah, I've seen your sycamores, your chestnuts, your maples and oaks...but I give you the mighty Yucca! Give it up, you know you guys "can't touch this"!

You can say I planned today's ride with this spot as my turnaround point.
