WTB: Campagnolo 9 speed downtube shifters

It's for an Eroica project and I can find 7-8 and ten speed but no 9.
If there's even such a thing.

Well, last gen downtube shifters were ONLY 9s..when 10s happened they became barend shifters(altho the barends are downtube shifters in a new, barend 'holder')...BUT 9s shift discs are easy to find.

I read somewhere that the bar end shifter parts would work with down tube levers, I'm just having trouble finding the levers.

Still looking. I thought I had found some but they were just teasing. I found a bunch of Syncro Shifters but no info on whether the 9 speed inserts are compatible. What ever happened to the Campy only site.

I have a set of 10 speed shifters that I will sell. Maybe Old Potatoe can sort out the 9 speed conversion for you. I can deliver the shifters to him personally. PM me for details if you're interested. )

Did you end up finding these? I found a spare set of campy 10 bar end shifters you can convert to downtube if you find the backplate

They are not(Syncro 2, big knurled knob on RH shifter)..only convertible ones, 8-9-10s, are the 3 spring ones that started in 1995..barrel adjuster on RH lever(altho 1994 did too but 2 spring-8s only)...Only way to tell if they are 3 spring is to take 'em apart and look...

But for above..ClassicVelo..I can easily source the 9s disc and install..and 'somebody' here made some back plates..I don't have any more..my last set went to ClassicVelo..

I've been meaning to make another batch. There have been several requests lately.
Perhaps I'll drop a batch into the schedule at work tomorrow.
