Just me thinking about my bikes

Big drop, long stem, slammed, classic shape, 44 wide, level top tube, flat crown, lugged, steel, big tube, thin wall, shaped tubes with a cool profile, curved stays, chromed, glossy paint, large chainrings 53/42, glistening chain, corn cob 19, cables measured just so, grip tape, rim brake, carbon, high profile, bladed spokes, 28s, tan wall, tubular, cool tread, Italian logo, sometimes classic 32, double butted, 3 cross, brass nipples, tied and soldered, perfect tension, top it all off by a Regal and of course Campagnolo!

I don't give a **** about areo.

I was done with corn cobs 30 years ago. You do paint a pretty picture though.

Edit... damn, 35 years ago!

Sounds like I'll just have to ride of the front with you and show you my wheels.

Down lower there are 32s. You can have whatever cassette on those. They are for training.

I first had 23. I changed to 19 to make you think I could hammer.

I had 52/47 crank rings and a 13-18 freewheel when I went off to college. Hills there were not too long but very steep! 50-60 mph down hill. I bought a 42 ring, then a 21 and 23 freewheel. Those were small gears.

Oh to be young again...

53/42 with 170's. Look at me, I can ride circles. How's your stride? I've been working on mine all winter with rollers to make my stride even. I can go downhill too. Try to catch me. I have an 11.
