I have a pair of specialized grail gloves that I like. Padding is in a different spot than most other gloves Ive used (in a good way imo) and they do not have a velcro closure. I typically use the Specialized for mtb and use the Cuero on the road, but recently have been using the specialized for both so may get a second pair.

I have and love my Rapha fingerless gloves...have the opposite issue with tiny hands and these fit the best...and being girly I like how they look too.

Assos summer gloves

The Assos summer gloves are great! These are the best gloves I have had.
They wear extremely well. No Velcro and just the right amount of padding.

Specialized Grail is all I ride... Need to stock up in case Spec discontinues. The pad is at the center of the palm. Trust. It works.

I also just started wearing gloves again for safety reasons.
Picked up a pair of Bontrager Velocis gloves at LBS. No Velcro, nice fit and they have a cool exit strategy that works slick.

I’ve had a couple pairs of these and they have been great.

Rapha pro team are fine as well.

I like Assos and Giordana EXO. I'm not sure whether the latter are still available, but you can find them on eBay, expensive. No velcro. Not a lot of padding though.

Hello, I know it's not what you originally asked but I do use full finger gloves during the summer. I *know* it seems counter-intuitive, but those are "summer" full finger gloves so please hear me out. I started using them last season after noticing that a friend wears them throughout the year.

The reason in my case is that I sweat profusely, and was tired of having a gunky/sticky cockpit. Also, the summer gloves *do* cool things down a bit, greatly improve grip and provide a bit of comfort, although the gloves i have (many pairs of the 100% brand that Sagan peddles) are very simple, have minimal padding and have a surprisingly perfect fit.

One more thing: these gloves are indestructible, are very easy to wash, and are the least $ of all offerings. After wearing them for the past year and a half I cannot go back.

best,

G
