The RA Cycles EPS version was the nicest I have seen, with the LX accents look great...

Anyway I was almost decided to get a newer Colnago, be a close out C60 or a C64 in Art Decor, so I think I will give this Mapei C64 a go

If it was really Italian it would blow off in the wind anyway.

Get the C64, you wont regret it.

I regret allowing aesthetic and design considerations ruin things for me. C59 Mapei, still the best paint I've ever seen on a bike (any bike).

Oh, and best Colnago typeface

Of the modern carbon Mapeis, agree with Beeatnik and like the one above the best. It’s “fresh and clean” looking although the logo (typeface) is not my fav.

That new C64 Mapei isn’t really doing it for me. Something about the Blue/orange/yellow fade stripes looks rushed and abrupt, versus having a bit more gradual fade to it all. And despite being out for awhile, I still haven’t warmed up much to the new logo typeface/font.

@Calnago

Sure but, you see when the C59 AD10 came out, I had just bought my C40 Mapei, and was undecided, then when I really wanted it it was not possible anymore to buy it.

I know it is not the "perfect" font, or shades of orange or what not, but many times I regretted not being possible to find the C59 AD10 NOS in my size,

This is the best current frame in the official paint job that is is the closest as what my Mapei fan heart could want

It will be probably the last bike I will buy, who knows

Colnago C64 Mapei

Totally understand. With Colnago, if you see a color scheme that appeals to you, you shouldn’t hesitate to get it since it may not be available in the future. As for this being the last bike you might ever buy, that’s what I said when I spent was what I considered to be an exorbitant amount for a bicycle, my first real Italian bicycle in 1991, a Basso Loto.

52s, Mechanical , Rim Brakes,

I am traditional like that I will build it with the Super Record Group from 2014 that I stashed for the C59 but never built.

If there were traditionals I would order one, but they don't do that anymore.... and well I have already 3 traditional Colnagos so it's time to modernise myself a bit LOL

BTW to apease my subconscious telling me "don't do it" I will put for sale some parts and other stuff on the Classified section, like that I can tell it, that I am financing it with that , he is so easily persuaded haha
