They said on the live world's coverage that he had played on elite, handpicked teams as young as 9 years old. I am sure he could make a high dollr living in either sport.

Remco has arrived. Vuelta San Juan
https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/eve...of-confidence/ Classica San Sebastián last season. Taking 2nd in the World’s Time Trial as a 19 year old tells you he has an enormous engine. The kid seems to win at every level: Belgian, Euro and Worlds junior road and TT races-reminiscent of some of the greatest of all times. |

He just keeps winning. It’s not just the physical side. Some guys no matter the sport or career have that winning mental edge.

On YouTube the Lanterne Rouge has analyzed a lot of his races..... simply amazing! Here's a link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC77...VHkpApL0wGfH5w, one of the most detailed commenters on cycling.
This rider's ability to start a sprint from nearly a kilo out.... !!!!! Love to see this new generation of riders coming up and winning |

Woods is a gifted athlete with a will to suffer....but he ain’t in the same league as Evenepoel. Woods is also on the backside of his career at 33....Remco Is 20

I give you that but is not just go an get to be in the podium of the elite road racer in just less than 5 years, specially if you got to cycling pretty much really late in life, that is not normal at all, and you have to put that in consideration at the time to weight Woods aswell...
The remco kid is just incredible and who knows since when he has been racing aswell, I like the kid but the question is if we will actually see him shine as it should. Many suddenly disappear, and I hope that doesnt happen with Remco because would be sad. But aswell, we have seen many "young EMs" during all these years... so lets see what happens with him... |

Wow, class act.
""This celebration was actually already in my mind yesterday, so I just wanted to take Fabio's number in case of winning. This morning I asked the press officer to fix me a number of Fabio. From the moment I had it in my hands, I felt something special in my mind and my body. I said 'ok, no matter how hard it will be, I will just fight to the end and keep going. I will be suffering but Fabio is suffering much more…' that gave me the energy." "I saw everybody suffering, me as well, and I thought 'now is the time, if I take 2-3 guys with me, it's perfect, the race will be done'. But nobody could follow and then I quite quickly gained a gap of 30 seconds. I kept going because I knew that in the peloton only one guy was pulling, so it was me against him. With the number in my back [pocket] I didn't feel tired, my energy was there and never went away. It really gave me energy for this 51 kilometres."" |

This kid is the real deal- an absolute beast in the making. I can’t wait to see him at the Giro which will be his biggest test so far.
