Wine for the Holidays, way too early post, but....

Last year, I posted this link a bit late to get deliveries for the holidays, but this year, I'm jumping on it way too early! If you order from this company, Wine Access, you can set the date for delivery. I have my wine delivered in November because of the heat still lingering into October (Florida) and that can damage wine. Many of you took advantage of this great deal last year, so I'm getting it out there in time to make a difference for those who care. Oh, wine with football games is perfectly acceptable too.

I'll recycle this link. If you want a good deal on wine, go to this link and order $150 worth of wine and get free shipping plus a $50 discount. So, if you order exactly $150, and it's your first order with them, you will pay $100. Sales Tax will depend on where you live. Some states they don't charge sales tax and it makes for a doubly good deal. And, I get a referral bonus too!! http://share.wineaccess.com/v/Louis

You’re not too early, Lou. Rosh Hashana begins Sunday night.

Don't know who it was, but someone took advantage of this great deal. Reminder, if you live in a warm climate, you can specify delivery at a future date when you order.

It's a great deal. Free shipping, 33% off already discounted wine if you get the minimum $150 only. And, you can select what date in the future you want it delivered plus add single bottles to that future delivery as late as about 14 days prior, varies.

I think it is almost criminal that some states don't allow shipment. Crazy.

https://www.wineaccess.com/where-we-ship/

I asked Wine Access about their shipping policy. In the link, it shows all the states where they ship. If it has an asterisk, the special terms are that tax is charged at the California tax rate rather than the ship state tax rate. For example, they charge me Florida tax, but if you live in New Jersey, they will ship, but at the California tax rate. Technically, they say you take possession at the point of origin and they act as your shipping agent. Subtle difference, but worth mentioning since it was discussed that there are shipping rules for some states. You can still get the great deal of a minimum order of $150 worth of wine, with free shipping, for $50 off, or $100 if you only buy exactly $150.

I will try again this afternoon. This is the message I got from them last time....

If you live in one of these states, there are options. If you have a friend or family member in a neighboring state, especially one who you may be visiting soon, we are happy to ship your order to their address. Secondly, we would be happy to ship your order directly to a FedEx or UPS store location in a nearby state where we are legally able to ship wines for you to pick-up.

I cannot believe that someone else knows this.

The positive synergy between "Cooked Turkey / Tryptophan" and "Sparkling Wines in a Pinkish Hue" is one of the worlds great mysteries.
