Funny, I actually looked up George Best just earlier today, but your photo didn't ring a bell. I was ready to download it and have Google do a reverse search, but then the file name gave it away.

Actually thought it might have been Beckenbauer. Shows you how much I know

Look up some of the videos of him dribbling....amazing....more amazing are the tackles that didn't warrant a foul/whistle back then....a lot of them would be yellow if not red cards today!

Sorry, but the only player from the 2017 Asterisks about whom one can say anything positive is Mike Fiers. The rest belong in the LA club -- cheater and a jerk.

God, every one of those uniforms in the OP are horrible…except the Expos. Hard to choose the worst but the finalists are the Astros and the SD 'tacos'. Don't forget the horrific stadiums that accompanied those unis.

Even as a Dodger fan I would have preferred to see the Expos in the series in '81. That was a great outfield (though I think that in '81 Cromartie had moved to 1B to make room for Tim Raines).
